Firstly, they were extremely professional, arrived early and communicated well prior to the wedding. This was a major tick for me as it is already stressful enough planning a wedding. They added so much atmosphere, had fab song choices with good variety. Anthony reached out about a month before and made things easy to co-ordinate, putting us at ease before the big day, even offering to amend their set list more for our tastes. On the day, Pulse were really professional in set-up and they nailed the first dance performance before launching into their set. They worked brilliantly as a 5 piece and kept the vibe going with smooth transitions between songs. They really performed the songs and built a connection with the audience. They had everyone dancing from young to old(er), certainly delivering on the loudness that we’d hoped for. I’d been a bit apprehensive in booking a band I had never seen/met before and if they’d actually live up to the promise from the website.
