“I was so lucky to be the “victim” of an amazing surprise birthday party. Hipster fulfilled my dreams of having an indie disco 50th - it was absolutely brilliant! My friends and family said they hadn’t danced so much for ages. The band played all the tunes my partner had told them I love, either live or in between sets on the backing tracks. My friends and family said they hadn’t danced so much for ages. The band played all the tunes my partner had told them I love, either live or in between sets on the backing tracks. Dancing to “there is a light that never goes out” with my oldest best pals was perfect! The band fitted in so beautifully to the evening and felt like friends. “The band were amazing. Brilliant musicians. And very good at reading the room and getting the atmosphere right. Everyone was up and dancing, from 4 year olds to 90 year olds at our wedding. We were running late and they adapted the times of their sets seamlessly and worked really hard to give us a fabulous party. They were simply wonderful and everyone has a fantastic time”

“The band created a superb atmosphere on a very wet and miserable day. They lifted the guests to the point where every guest was dancing to their last two songs at 10.45pm. The caller was excellent and very patient which helped most of the guests grasp the fundamental moves. They received rapturous applause at the end of the evening. Much deserved.”

“Firstly the communication with the band was amazing, from talking about feeding them to making sure the songs would match the feel of the night. Josh and his bandmates smashed it. the first dance song was perfect. exactly what we wanted and the mix of some classic 80/90's songs with more modern songs was perfect.
