Our Alive Network agent (Gemma Jane) was amazing throughout the whole process, providing great advice on our band, other musicians throughout the day, timings, and helping with any questions or changes we had along the way. The communication and support were first class from start to finish. As for the band – Hipster were totally brilliant! Joe and his bandmates were incredibly helpful and professional. They arrived early to set up the PA system for our speeches, played our entrance song perfectly, and then kept the party going all night long. They even accommodated a special request from our MC’s who decided they wanted to have their own entrance song! We wanted as much band time as possible, right through to the end of the night so there was no ‘winding down’, something both Alive Network and Hipster were very willing to accommodate. One of the standout moments for us, was when England won their quarter-final. As soon as Hipster got the nod, they seamlessly transitioned into ‘It's Coming Home’, which had everyone singing and celebrating together – it was such a brilliant touch and created a moment on the day we'll never forget. The dancefloor was full from the first song to the last, and we've genuinely lost count of the number of guests who have told us how incredible the band were.
