He was incredibly accommodating as we had a few requests, some songs that he already knew and one he had to learn, as well as gaps where I asked if he could use his own judgement and play what he thought was suitable. I was not disappointed. The songs we asked, he specifically tailored to the events of the ceremony (bridal entrance etc.) and in the gaps, he chose music that suited the occasion perfectly. On the day, Antonia and Joe were well-dressed, punctual and the utmost professionals. Their playing was flawless and made my new mother-in-law cry constantly which I suppose is a testament to their music. I would not hesitate to hire them again for another event and I would definitely recommend getting the violin accompaniment as they complement each other very well. All in all, thank you Joe and Antonia for setting the tone of the wedding and making it a day we'll always remember. Just also wanted to mention Alive network, your service was very slick and made it incredibly easy to organise a musician at our wedding and we'll definitely use your services again. He was exactly what we were looking for. A very cultivated young musician with a perfect feeling for the atmosphere around him. This job was not easy because he had to play the piano in the centre of the Olympia Grand Hall, in a dedicated bar lounge area surrounded by exhibition stands. First we were told: this is not going to work, it will create noise pollution and will have negative effects. After the 3 days we were told: it was great, people even asked for more, people found the piano music extremely relaxing in this technical environment and it was the main reason the lounge area was always crowded with people.” Read more
