We had numerous conversations about the logistics of being in a field on Dartmoor and The Sonics totally embraced the shocking weather we ended up having and even camped! We discussed at length the song list and they were extremely flexible - catering for all age groups and tastes. On the night - they went beyond our expectations. All the guests were forced inside because of the weather and to our delight spent all night in the yurt dancing - this would not have happened if the band weren't so good! When we watch the footage from the night, one of the things that stands out is how much fun everyone was having dancing. The Sonics certainly set the tone for a great party - and that is what it was - wish we could do it all again! Many thanks to the whole band for creating such wonderful memories, we are still getting compliments about the band nearly a year on!” Read more
