From photo booths and honeymoons, to flowers and make-up, your wedding supplier list can be a long one. Choosing your perfect supplier is a bigger task still – cue some serious Googling, Insta-stalking and the many, many Pinterest boards…
Well Berkshire couples, rejoice! We recently had the chance to chat to some top Berkshire wedding suppliers (and lovely people to boot!) during a recent gathering at Newbury Racecourse.
The Wedding Suppliers event brings together a community of local wedding creatives, and encourages Bs & Gs to buy their wedding needs locally. (We’re all for keeping trade in your town.)
After chatting with over 50 wedding obsessives, we’ve put together our pick of the undiscovered gems, award-winners, and suppliers to watch in Berkshire.
Do let us know in the comments below if we’ve missed any of your favourites!
Carol Elizabeth Photography
Carol’s work has a romantic and timeless feel - think unposed candid photos and natural portraits.
Neale has been voted one of the UK’s top 50 wedding photographers – his beautiful, initimate documentary-style shots demonstrate why.
Named Berkshire’s top photographer in 2017, Chris’s style is all about fun, relaxed creative storytelling.
Lisa Lucas Photography
Planning a mediaeval-style wedding? As well as classic ‘I dos’, Lisa specialises in historical wedding photography.
Need a band that know how to throw a party? Brightlights are a stylish and vibrant party covers band with killer vocals and a fresh repertoire of music from the likes of Bruno Mars, The Beatles, Rita Ora & Kings of Leon.
Bags of stage presence, energy and cool, this award-winning band will not stop rocking until all your guests are on their feet. Dance offs are thoroughly encouraged!
As a singer, guitarist and pianist, Jamie offers a variety of options to tailor to your wedding, and even performs as a roaming musician – perfect for an outdoor reception!
We know we’re biased, but we love brilliant Alive suppliers Zoe and David, who not only provide gorgeous ice cream carts (see below…!), but also a fleet of amazing vintage campervan photobooths, and heaps of other fun and beautiful touches.
Choose from booths or magic mirrors, with a range of photobooth packages that include a roped-off red carpet area, and an external screen to display photos live.
Magic Circle member Simon is best known for his engaging style of close-up magic that brings guests together – think a combination of illusion and ‘mind-magic’ that feels fresh and contemporary.
Fellow Magic Circle member Jono has been performing for 15 years, with a repertoire that uses cards, coins, or ordinary impromptu items from your guests’ tables!
Want something different for your hen or stag party? Charaderie is the new Berkshire-based brainchild of creator Helen Saxton, and immerses you in a thrilling murder mystery with actors in character!
