“Dan is one of the most efficient, professional and entertaining DJs that I have worked with in 28 years of gigging. I mean that very genuinely! I was booked via a wedding fair to play music for a wedding reception. At very short notice, the couple found out that they could have the reception venue for the evening (original plan was to stop at 4pm), so wanted to extend my booking which, due to being booked elsewhere, I couldn't do. As the couple didn't know what to do, I agreed to help find someone - and that is when Dan came to the rescue. He arrived very promptly (early, in fact) to ensure a smooth transition from my performance, the speeches, through to him setting-up and continuing the entertainment for the rest of the evening. What was particularly impressive was that he only received a playlist from the couple with LESS than 24 hours notice! It wasn't a typical playlist either - they particuarly wanted a lot of Latin American/Spanish music, amongst other things. The repertoire demands were absolutely no problem for Dan; he put together one of the most diverse playlists that I have ever seen in my 28 years, and the couple (the bride being from Brazil) have fed back to me that they were much more than thrilled with the music Dan played. The huge range of Latin music that would get people dancing was exceptional! We hope that not too many wedding gigs are carried out at such short notice, but if something occurs and you need short-notice cover, Dan is your man! And if not short-notice, Dan is STILL your man!”
