“Riptide were the icing on the cake of a fantastic wedding day. Their playlist was excellent and they had people dancing who I never thought I’d ever see on the dance floor! I have previously owned a music and comedy club and can honestly say this band is very “tight” and clearly really accomplished musicians and performers. If you’re looking for a brilliant night of exceptional music then I’d have no hesitation in recommending Riptide.”
Switch know how to bring the party!

“Switch played at our wedding. It is difficult to find the words to describe just how good they were. They are all incredible musicians and play so well as a group, with a really fun and varied repertoire. On top of that, they interacted so well with our (rather rowdy) guests and created a great party atmosphere from the get-go. Our dance floor was ALWAYS full from 8pm when they started playing until midnight when they stopped. It really felt as if they were guests of the wedding; they were that invested in making our day so special. In particular, they played a bespoke first dance song for us (a mix of two songs) which was perfect. We could not have asked for anything more, and neither could our guests as we had a huge number of comments (easily 30+) about how great the band were. On top of this, we thought Switch were excellent value for money and were super professional from the point of contact until the day itself. If you are reading this review, book Switch now before somebody else does!”

“Thomas J was exactly what we wanted for our wedding. His communication before the event was very good. On the day he was punctual and set up quietly on his own without any fuss. He learnt 2 songs that we had requested and played beautifully during the service and then again during the wedding breakfast. Thomas is perfect for music at such an event and many of our guests were so impressed with him that he even earned a round of applause (this was after his rendition of Layla by Derek and the Dominos). We would not hesitate to recommend Thomas and would like to thank him again.”

“We asked Tim to play at my son’s party in Brockenhurst and he was brilliant. The choice of songs was attractive to all ages and they really set a party mood and got people on the dance floor. He played happy birthday when the cake came out and we all sang along. He comes highly recommended.”

“Russell played for my husband’s 40th family birthday party. He turned up, got the vibe of the day and played what he thought was best. He was very approachable about certain requests and catered for every age group and had us dancing. The most magical moment was my 6 year old daughter singing a song to her dad and Russell helping her every step of the way. A moment we will never forget”
