“I booked Apollo Duo to play for our awards ceremony, they played throughout the evening during dinner and between speeches before a more upbeat set at the end of the evening. They were fantastic to deal with in the run up to the day and so professional and accommodating. I had so many comments from guests about how amazing they were and they were able to adjust the music to the different parts of the evening, perfect for during dinner and a party. 100% would book again!”

“We hired Southern Lights for our wedding. They were absolutely incredible. I was blown away by how good they were! The variety of music they were able to perform was excellent! We received so many compliments for the band from our guests and they really made the evening special for us both and our guests! The booking process and communication of the band was super and they did everything to understand the type of music we liked and even offered to learn our first dance song and some of our favourite songs / artists, which we thought was a lovely offer! A huge thank you to the band! Nothing short of exceptional! I would not hesitate to book Southern Lights again for any future events we have! Thank you so much guys!”

She sang two sets of beautifully delivered songs and introduced each one with a lovely reflection on her choice and interpretation. She won the hearts of the whole audience, making them laugh and cry. Her voice is gorgeous and she looks stunning. The event was a pleasure to arrange, Luka is helpful, responsive, friendly and reliable. She happily adapted to playing an open-air space in our orchard and her set up and pack up was a breeze, whilst the sound quality was excellent. I cannot recommend Luka highly enough.”

“We could not have wished for a better performer for our wedding day. From the get go James was the consummate professional. The initial call we had with him post booking allayed any concerns we may have had about booking his services. He gave knowledgeable advice about how to get the best out of our venue acoustics wise and also gave valuable suggestions regards set times. On our wedding day he had had arrived at the venue hours early to ensure no issues and his whole performance was excellent. The stand out for me was how good James' voice is. He could move seamlessly between genres and multiple times guests were asking where we got him from as he was so good! I'd definitely recommend James. On the day they played an acoustic set during the reception drinks and then really got the dancefloor started in the evening, they even learned our first dance song which was incredible. All of our guests commented how good they were, no one wanted them to stop! We're just trying to work out what event we can plan next just so we can see them play again!”
