“So glad we decided to hire Hipster to close out our wedding celebrations. They were amazing. In a day that had already been full of superlatives many of the guests commented on how great the band was. They kept the dance floor full from start to finish. The joint was jumping, as they say. I must also mention great communication before the event - enabling us to tailor the music to our preferences. If you are thinking of booking them don’t hesitate!”

“Having seen the The Dukes perform at my Daughter's wedding back in December 2021 at a Hotel in Lewes, East Sussex. When it came to our wedding on 10th August this year. There was only one band to book. They are just the best for any occasion when you want the room to rock, and get everyone up dancing. They have a great repertoire, with all their covers right 'on point'. They interact with the crowd, and are really nice guys. Thank you Dukes for making our wedding memorable and super special. Paul, lead minstrel, had us common folk dancing and laughing from the outset. Wonderful performances, an impromptu lessen on the history and workings of the hurry gurdy, and a medieval legend of a finale involving guests to top it off. We talked through song choices ahead of the event, and he was very happy to play a song for us that wasn't part of his standard set list. He also took the time to speak to our celebrant ahead of the day just to talk through logistics and timings, so we knew everything was going to run smoothly.
