“Very friendly group and happy to please. They got the music absolutely right for the age group which was from 2 up to 82. As soon as they started to play we knew we had picked a winner - the dance floor was packed . Couldn’t have done better.”

“A great bunch of guys – obviously love what they do and you get a great musical experience with a comedic side-line as they interact with their audience. I certainly enjoyed their performance and there was nothing but great comments from everyone I spoke to. The real marker is that this was an 80th birthday party with a large number of over 50’s there, and the dance floor was full with a lot of singing along going on.”

“The website of Alive Network is very clear and easy to use. We were able to get a list of performers who play the type of music we knew we wanted, (jive and rock 'n' roll), then we were able to listen to some tracks and in some cases see a short video clip of the bands. The website tells you how far the group are prepared to travel, and we were lucky that they were willing to travel from the midlands to Liverpool for the evening. Whole Lotta Shakin fitted the bill for us exactly. The band were very professional in their approach and setting up, and the music was superb - a very high standard. The music was foot-tapping, as we wanted, and most of our guests of all ages joined in the dancing. My husband and I spent most of the second set upstairs talking to other guests, and were itching to get downstairs to join in ourselves. We finally managed to go and dance, only to find that they were playing the last song. One of our guests pleaded with them to play one more, for our sake, and they played two more, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We can't speak highly enough of this band, so thank you, Alive Network and Whole Lotta Shakin!”

“I would like to offer a big thank you to Paul Gallacher and the boys from the Whole Lotta Shakin rock 'n' roll band for their excellent performance at my wife's themed beach side birthday party last Saturday evening. Their professionalism throughout each of the two one hour playing sessions never waned despite the summer heat here in deepest Cornwall. The venue really rocked and the dance floor was full of "Jivers" the whole time - all the guests were highly impressed by my choice of entertainment, many enquiring how I managed to find such a "cool" band. Their musicality was superb, their level of humour was just right and their interaction with the guests made the event so friendly - not to mention the clever banter with our DJ who they only met for the first time at 6pm that same evening. All in all a first class night and one that Gaynor and I will not forget well into our old age - if you want a party to get everyone up on their feet don't hesitate to book this fantastic rock band - THANKS BOYS!”
