“We booked The Upstarts for our wedding after falling in love with their setlist. They were, in short, incredible. Firstly, Rob was an absolute pleasure to speak to before, during and after the event, making organisation of the band on the night as easy as possible. The band even accommodated a couple of last minute requests, which I was so grateful for and demonstrates their commitment to the performance. On the performance, The Upstarts had the entire wedding party on the dance floor from start to finish, playing a fantastic range of songs which appealed to everybody of all ages. They really played to the room. But they also went above and beyond, interacting with the crowd and even letting me join them on stage on trombone for a tune or two, which meant a lot to me and my family. For anyone wanting a book a band of very talented musicians who will bring a huge party to your event, you must book The Upstarts!”

“Having The Upstarts as our wedding band was a major highlight of our day. Their communication leading up to the day was fantastic and their commitment to the performance was demonstrated on the night; they had even learned a song we had requested especially for the evening. We were blown away by not only what a skilled group of musicians they are, but the lead vocals were incredible - meaning we were confident choosing a range of song styles as they performed fantastic covers with their own bespoke style, which we loved! The look and energy of the band was brilliant. They had the dance floor bouncing, got involved with the guests - Chris even came out into the crowd with his guitar! Absolute class act. They were also generally lovely people and were so friendly to everyone. We would 100% recommend these lads to anyone looking for a funky, trendy vibe for their evening wedding party.”

“The Upstarts were one of a number of "great investments" for our wedding day celebrations. Their professional approach throughout the evening accompanied by their friendly and enthusiastic rapport with us and our guests made then an invaluable part of what made our wedding celebrations so special. As a set of musicians they perform with great enthusiasm, a playlist with something for everyone in it and an ensemble tightness you only get from experienced, well rehearsed musicians. All our guests loved them and many made inquiries as to how we discovered them. Cannot recommend these guys too highly. An absolute joy as professionals, musicians and entertainers. The dance floor was full all night and nobody wanted them to stop.”
