“Perfect Jazz on a summer's evening, they arrived on time and set up without fuss, played fantastic music all evening and allowed our wedding guests to relax gently and soak up the atmosphere. I had lots of people comment on how nice the jazz was and how well pitched the music was to the event - having not really given Rick any information about the evening other than it was a garden wedding reception. I think they chose their pieces perfectly and we were really happy with the results. I definitely recommend them if you're looking for a Jazz duo, especially if you're like us and can sometimes find live music gets in the way of conversations - Straight No Chaser were able to give our guests the option to sit and listen (which many did) or carry on their chatter - ideal for our wedding!”

“We booked STRAIGHT NO CHASER through ALIVE NETWORK to play for our 40th Birthday Party on the 15th Oct 2011. SNC arrived well in advance, were well organised and were set up completely on time . They were totally self sufficient. The two guys were extremely polite, friendly, well presented and professional. An absolute pleasure to have with us. The performance was superb and greatly appreciated and enjoyed by our guests from whom we had numerous comments as to how much SNC were enjoyed. The range of music was great and they are very talented. They were able to deal with requests with ease and provided a wonderful ambience and atmosphere . I cannot think of a way in which their performance could have been impoved. I hope you will pass this info onto them both. We had not heard of Alive Network and had just been googling for sax players for parties. We were introduced to SNC through them. Ten out of ten for the service from Alive Network. They were fast, efficient, helpful and professional (Clare was our contact). It was hard to locate local artists and I was concerned about the distance SNC would be travelling, but that was no issue whatsoever. The Alive Network website was by far the easiest and most user friendly especially with the ' availabilty check' option. We chose SNC partly to match our budget and partly because of the info and demo on the site. Thanks to SNC and Alive Network for a great service/talent which enabled us to create the exact atmosphere we wanted at the party. Ruth Stephen ”
