“I hired Rakish Paddy for my Dad's 90th birthday and it is fair to say they absolutely made the party. They put a lot of effort into liaising with me beforehand and were very good at responding to my requests, including special songs I wanted in relation to my Dad's life. They arrived promptly, were personable and friendly with all our guests, made my Dad feel like a million dollars and most of all they are just so talented and brought the party alive. I would recommend them without hesitation and will look to hire them in the future for such special occasions. ”

“I booked Rakish Paddy for my 60th birthday Ceilidh - couldn't have had a more perfect celebration. Ruth and the guys totally made the evening. Their musicianship was fabulous, my guests commented on how good they were. Communication was excellent throughout from the initial telephone call with Ruth right through to the end of my celebration. I wanted a fun evening for amateur dancers and they produced. The caller was excellent and patient with us and we had so much fun. I wanted to do a celebration that was different from the norm and was just perfect for me. I wanted a celebration that would stay long in my memory and that was achieved and I can't thank Ruth, the boys and Marc the agent enough for all they did to contribute towards my perfect night.”

“The band created a superb atmosphere on a very wet and miserable day. They lifted the guests to the point where every guest was dancing to their last two songs at 10.45pm. The caller was excellent and very patient which helped most of the guests grasp the fundamental moves. They received rapturous applause at the end of the evening. Much deserved.”
