“The booking process was easy. It was a bit of a pain that the hotel required the various certificates but can understand it as the Gypsy Rogues had not performed at the venue before. The band were very professional and entertaining and encouraged people to participate and join in the fun. They were a good band and anyone who wants a ceilidh band then they cannot go wrong with this group.”

“Wanted to say a huge Thank You to Alive Network and The Gypsy Rogues for your fantastic service and amazing music. The band was exactly what we were hoping for - both Mark and I loved the night and many of our guests have commented on how much they enjoyed the ceilidh...it was great to see the dancefloor so full for so much of the night - it's always tricky with a wedding trying to find entertainment which will appeal to all ages, but the ceilidh worked out fantastically. I was really impressed with the service we received from the moment we enquired - it was great to have the sample cds sent out as both Mark and I wanted to be sure that the music would be good - it was great! “The Gypsy Rogues were amazing! We asked them to do one folky set early on, then two ceilidh sets (3 x 40min) and they were brilliant at both. Everyone, from my gran to the little toddler who danced all through the first set, loved them. David, the caller, got exactly the right balance when giving the instructions for the ceilidh – they were clear but also really funny and put everyone in a good mood. Lots of people said they were the best bit of the wedding, including our friends and family (it’s not easy to please everyone but they did)! When I chatted to them at the end of the night, they were really friendly, nice people. I would highly recommend them to anyone organising an event for any age group. ”

“Gypsy Rogues were an absolute pleasure to have at our wedding. They were so friendly, fun and flexible and didn’t grumble at all even though we were running an hour late! The Ceilidh they provided was fantastic and got all our guests on our very small dance floor. David was a brilliant caller and pitched the level of complexity perfectly. Although we paid more for our band that we had originally budgeted for it really was worth every penny. We have had comments from nearly all of our guests, young and old about how good they were and how much they enjoyed either just listening to their music or dancing. We would definitely book them again but in a much bigger venue so we can really go for it with the spinning! We would recommend them to anyone, for any event!
