In addition to their talents on their instruments, the Southern Lights boys sing impressive harmonies and further elevate their sound by incorporating modern technologies such as drum triggers & MIDI-controlled Kempers - just like all of your favourite modern pop artists! Couple this with high quality backing tracks and you have a spectacle that, in the past, wouldn’t have been possible without a large ensemble of musicians!

From Elvis to Oasis and all the way to Ed Sheeran and Dua Lipa, they create the perfect setlist for your special event keeping everyone glued to the dancefloor! Want to have a hand in the magic? Southern Lights are happy to create bespoke setlists based on your musical preferences- just let the band know what you love (and don’t love!) and they will tailor a setlist with your tastes in mind. Additionally, for wedding bookings, Southern Lights are more than happy to learn your first dance free of charge! Meet The Band
All three members of Southern Lights are highly-trained musicians, completing degrees in music from the universities of BIMM Brighton and BIMM Bristol. They’ve performed at over 500 weddings, corporate events and parties together in the last eight years as well as writing and recording their own music in their spare time. Needless to say, their vast experience and skill is just one of the reasons they can bring you the ultimate live music experience.
Your Event
A standard booking with Southern Lights includes two hours of live music, a DJ service in-between their live sets and if you like, they’ll learn a first dance or special song for you free of charge.
Southern Lights are a completely self-contained band, bringing their own PA and lighting system, so all they need from you on the day is 2 standard 13A plug sockets (normal UK plug sockets) to give them power. The band are fully PAT and PLI certified and are more than happy to send certifications to your venue if they require them.
