Sings and Swings has over 15 years experience in the entertainment industry and has appeared on BBC TV & Radio. He is fast gaining a reputation as one of the most exciting versatile jazz singers to emerge in the south west in recent years with his smooth vocals encompassing a wide repertoire from the great American songbook, with influences from artists such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole and, more recently, Michael Bublé and Robbie Williams. He can also perform classic favourites from 60s, 70s & 80s and Musical Theatre songs.
From weddings and parties to corporate events, Sings and Swings creates a classic atmosphere and sets the scene for a special occasion. His experience shines through, having performed in established venues across the UK such as Theatre Royal in London, Manchester Concorde Hangar and performed abroad.

“John and the band were an absolute amazing addition to our wedding and I am so happy that we made the right decision when picking our band. My partner has always loved swing music, and it was the one thing out of the day that he wanted the most. Not only were they incredible but it is something that is so perfect for all of our guests across the age groups. Everyone knows all of the songs and John and the guys did a fantastic job in getting everyone involved and singing along. We also chose a Franki Valli song as our first dance which they did perfectly! Aside from the fabulous performance, John is also the nicest guy and so easy to work with. We spoke with him a couple of weeks before and he worked directly with our venue to take some of the pressure off of us. Honestly cannot recommend Sings and Swings enough and if you are thinking about booking them, just do it!!”
