Velvet Tones are a jazz duo who truly live up to their name with Katie's warm and sultry vocals accompanied beautifully by a top-notch musician (guitar or piano). Their repertoire is made up of familiar jazz tunes by the likes of Peggy Lee and Sarah Vaughan alongside fun jazz covers of pop songs by the likes of Britney Spears, Billie Eilish and The Cure.
Born in London, vocalist Katie has grown up with an obsession for music. After training at the prestigious ArtsEd London, she has been a featured vocalist in concerts across the UK as well as abroad at venues such as Cadogan Hall and Her Majesty's Theatre.
Velvet Tones are perfect as either background music to give your event a sophisticated atmosphere or as a featured performance to impress clients and colleagues alike. They can tailor their set to suit your event and the different lineups allow you to choose a combination that works for you (see booking options for more information). They deliver the highest level of professionalism, musicality and authenticity with over a decade of experience in the industry so that you can rest assured the music is in very safe hands.
Katie's unique and distinctive voice combined with her striking appearance and innate sense of performance promise to bring the wow factor to your event. These qualities have seen her attract clients and venues including The Dorchester, The Ned, The Hurlingham Club, The Grove, Smoked and Uncut Festival, Royal Horseguards Hotel, The Arts Club and Laphroaig. Last year she performed alongside her band at the VIP opening of the new Battersea Power Station. She has also held residencies at London venues including Park Chinois, Harvey Nichols and Boisdale.
