Full Biography
With years of experience to call upon and having performed at some of the UK and Europe’s most impressive venues, including castles and football stadiums; you can be sure The Trilby's will provide a night's entertainment that you and your guests will be talking about for years.
Band leader Matt is a very experienced musician having worked with Sony, Warner’s, BBC, Channel 4, Just Jack, Lee Mead, Aswad, Madness, Jon Lyndon, Finlay Quay and Hurts to name a few. Their drummer is on Kylie Minogue and Taio Cruz’s music video Higher and their bassist has gigged the world with Michael Jackson’s Thriller Live. If you choose The Trilby's female singer option, Rosie, you will also be calling upon a singer that has had top ten hits and been signed to major record labels.
With 10 hours of great music available, their playlist consists of tracks from the 1950s through to present day chart-toppers; covering artists such as Rock n Roll's Bill Haley and Elvis, to Motown's Stevie Wonder and James Brown, through to modern day acts such as the Killers, Kings Of Leon and Daft Punk and Pharell.
The Trilby's have the experience and knowledge to make organizing your event that little bit simpler. They will provide the PA and lighting and are able to play background music in between sets or perform a 1 x 60min acoustic set, either Vocals/Percussion & Acoustic Guitar or Vocals/Keyboard & Acoustic Guitar, prior to the full band. You have the option to book them as a 4 piece or as our full band with female vocals and a horn section (please see booking options).
