A musician and singer from the age of six, The Singing Harpist grew up in a family with music at its heart. She is a natural performer and her love for it shines through. For almost 20 years, she has travelled and performed at hundreds of diverse events, including Royal performances, Corporate and private occasions, sharing her music with people all over the world. From New Delhi, India, throughout Europe and all over the UK, her experience is wide and varied. However, a hopeless romantic herself, The Singing Harpist most enjoys being a part of a couple’s wedding day and playing melodic, lyrical pieces to celebrate the happy occasion.

For ceremonies, The Singing Harpist will be ready to play 15 - 20mins before your ceremony, to welcome your guests to the ceremony room. I play for your Processional, 2 songs for the signing of the register, then for your Recessional, as a married couple!

For Reception Drinks, The Singing Harpist generally performs for an hour.

For the wedding breakfast, The Singing Harpist performs 2 x 45mins sets, fitting in around speeches.

You can choose your ceremony music and she will always try to learn your special requests if there's time, although not everything works on the harp. She plays a selection from her wedding music for your drinks reception and wedding breakfast.

Sophia has developed her repertoire to include harp and vocal as opposed to solo harp. A solo harp set longer than 20 mins is not available.

As The Singing Harpist can mic up her vocal/harp, she can also play generic background music playlists through the speaker in between sets.

The Singing Harpist is happy to play outside as long as the weather is warm, dry and not windy, but it's always a good idea to arrange this beforehand so an appropriate spot where there is shade can be arranged. 

This Singing Harpist has previously performed for The Duke of Edinburgh and travelled to Delhi for a high-profile wedding.
