The Carnival Lights have graced over 500 weddings and events, distinguishing themselves not just as a run-of-the-mill gathering of musicians often seen in event bands, but as a tight-knit trio of lifelong friends whose connection transcends mere musicality.
With one member immersed in the wedding and events scene since 2010, and two others harmonising since 2003, the trio collectively known as The Carnival Lights has been igniting stages together since 2018.
Their talent hasn't gone unnoticed, earning them multiple award nominations. From performing at celebrity weddings, including those of English Football and Welsh Rugby stars, to captivating audiences at prestigious events like the royally-attended Hampton Court Flower Show, The Wild Sons know how to captivate any crowd and keep them on their feet!

“We booked The Carnival Lights for our wedding reception and they absolutely blew us away. From the moment they started to the very end of the night, our dance floor was packed with guests singing & dancing. The only time it got a little quieter was when they had a break in between sets. Everyone wanted to grab some food & another drink before they started again. They very kindly sang our first dance song which will remain very special to us both. I must admit I was a little nervous about booking a band for our wedding. I had sleepless nights about getting it wrong, the dancefloor being empty and guests not enjoying themselves. Well I can honestly say that ALL our guests raved about The Carnival Lights not only on the night itself, but several days afterwards. They played banger after banger and I genuinely did not want the night to end. All the boys were lovely to work with & were extremely accommodating with particular song choices. “Originally looking for that extra magic for my proposal, I came across Alun on social media and asked if he’d mind not only performing set but also playing our favourite song, Alun was so accommodating from the very first message and despite a last minute change of venue was incredibly kind and helpful and it made the entire experience that much more magical as I popped the question to my now wife! So when it came to booking to our wedding band of choice to entertain our guests there really was only one band we had in mind - The Carnival Lights! The guys absolute blew the roof off, not only playing a specially altered song for my wife and our daughter for their mummy & Daughter Dance, but also getting our guests up and dancing for the entire night!
