Full Biography
Stephen James is a multi-instrumentalist based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. He specialises in playing instrumental piano for weddings and events to provide the perfect ambience to the setting. He also lends his talents to ensemble playing and session work for recording artists.
He has been playing piano for over 18 years and performing for over 8 years. He has played in a solo set-up, in duos with singers and larger bands across the UK in established venues.
Stephen James is able to perform many styles including pop, rock, soul, classical and other genres, and has an extensive repertoire which reflects that. With a thirst for performance this set list is always broadening, as he has the enviable talent of learning all music by ear. For this reason, he can take requests prior to any event, providing sufficient notice is given.
He prides himself on being a reliable, punctual and organised musician who is able to accommodate any client's needs.
He always strives to add a classy aesthetic to the venues he plays at and endeavours to be fitting to all events. Stephen James can alter his set-up to accommodate outdoor performances, please speak with an agent to discuss your requirements.
