Delivering floor-filling grooves and stellar musicianship, Shakin’ That Class are a Soul and Pop band who will blow your socks off. Jam-packed with energy and talent, this 5 piece band are a force to be reckoned with.
Led by their powerhouse female vocalist, with backing vocals, guitar, keys, bass and drums to complete their show-stopping sound, Shakin’ That Class perform from an ever-growing repertoire that incorporates all your favourite Soul and Pop hits! Covering Stevie Wonder, Prince, Michael Jackson, Chaka Khan, Adele, Maroon 5, Justin Timberlake and more, you’ll be on the dance floor all night. Shakin' That Class can also perform a selection of jazz standards, showing their versatility and diverse performance.
Shakin’ That Class feature five supremely skilled musicians who received musical training at some of the most prestigious universities across the country. The band have a vast professional experience that is highlighted by their performances at The Echo Arena and The Royal Albert Hall, as well as previous work with Chic and Nile Rodgers, The BBC and Martha Reeves & The Vandellas. Their experience doesn't even stop there: they have also performed at countless weddings and private functions across the UK, delivering an exceptional night of funky soul music.

“Massive thanks to Nina and the band for putting on a truly exceptional performance for our evening wedding party! All communication prior was very professional, helpful and informative. It was great being able to negotiate the timings for the evening and also they were great in accommodating several requests for songs. Arrived with perfect timing as speeches finished and setup/sound check was in short break between afternoon and evenings. Straight after our first dance, started with a huge tune '(Your love keeps lifting me) Higher and Higher' which had the whole dance floor filled immediately and set the tone for funky tune after funky tune! All musicians top quality, very tight rhythm section, great solos on guitar and keys and exceptional lead vocals throughout. We had so many comments on the night and after as to how good the band were and how it made such a fabulous evening. A huge thanks again, would highly recommend! (PA another highlight was when we were hoisted onto two friend...”
