Scatter The Mud are a lively, vibrant four-piece band playing acoustic celtic music. The band consist of a combination of instruments including caller, fiddle, Irish pipes and guitar. Called dances cater for all levels, with the emphasis always focused on the element of fun (two left feet welcome!).
With a long history of music and friendship, Scatter The Mud are an experienced band who have played a variety of events. Whether it's a traditional ceilidh, concert, music festival, fair or private function; Scatter The Mud will endeavour to accommodate all!

“The band were great in the lead up to our wedding with clear communication, and helpfully outlining their requirements. On the day of our wedding the timings went a bit all over the place, but the band were incredibly helpful and flexible to fit in to our day, rather than needing to stick rigidly to the timings I had previously told them! The music was great, and the best testament was that we had people dancing from 2 years old to 70 years old. They responded well to the mood in the room, and got people dancing (but not in an obnoxious or forceful way). Would definitely recommend.”
