Moore Strings are a fresh and modern string quartet based in Hull. Proud to bring a touch of elegance to weddings and special events throughout Yorkshire, this professional quartet are experts at tailoring their performance to suit you and your needs.
With a repertoire specially designed to create beautiful atmospheres, Moore Strings have set the scene at wedding ceremonies, garden parties, drinks receptions, corporate events, charity nights and more. Performing modern rock and pop, from Oasis to Beyonce, to tasteful classical pieces from Mozart to Vivaldi, Moores Strings really do offer something for every occasion and every one!
Featuring classically trained musicians whose experience includes various chamber, orchestral and operatic projects, members of Moore’s Strings often work with Hessle Sinfonia, Hull Philharmonic Orchestra, Hull University Orchestra and have also played important roles in music projects for Hull City of Culture 2017.
Previous clients and venues include Cave Castle, Carlton Towers, Lazaat, Rowley Manor, Ferens Art Gallery, Hull University, Tickton Grange, Willerby Manor and more.
