Full Biography
Marsaili Francis, a professional vocalist and harpist, has been enchanting weddings and events for more than ten years. Her journey began at the tender age of 15 when she performed at her very first wedding. Since then, she has honed her skills by gracing a diverse array of functions, both large and intimate, across the United Kingdom.
Marsaili was brought up by folk musician parents and was trained in traditional Celtic harp (clarsach) and piano from the age of 6 at the City of Edinburgh Music School. After school, Marsaili studied Contemporary and Popular music at Newcastle University where she discovered her love of singing jazz and soul.
Marsaili brings together all of her early influences from her folk background in the traditional wedding instrument of the harp and combines it with her soulful voice and love of pop, soul and jazz to create a truly unique live music experience for your wedding or special event.
With her skills in voice and harp, Marsaili is able to seamlessly switch up the vibe for your event, whether it's more relaxed background music with instrumental harp, emotive ceremony music with harp and vocals or a more upbeat drinks reception, Marsaili can provide it all.
