Full Biography

Mark Jones is a highly sought-after professional event host and Master of Ceremonies, renowned for his charisma, experience and quick wit. Voted ‘Best Awards Host and Event MC – UK & Worldwide’ annually since 2017 (see awards compilation below), he is a trusted choice for award ceremonies, black-tie events, corporate conferences, sporting dinners and live Q&A sessions.

Mark’s global portfolio includes hosting Sky Sports’ Masters Football, where he fronted all UK live televised arena tournaments as well as events in the Middle East and Far East, conducting live TV interviews with many of the game’s top players. He is also the long-standing host of the British Sri Lankan Association Awards and has presented Manchester United’s Player of the Year Awards every year for more than two decades.

Beyond live events, Mark is also one of the UK’s most experienced and award-winning radio presenters, widely recognised for his work on Radio City in Liverpool and Century FM (now Smooth Radio). His broadcasting career has also taken him to the United States, where he appeared on WEFT and Q-96 in Illinois, and hosted the American Heart Association’s black-tie gala dinners, helping raise record-breaking sums through charity auctions.

In addition to his work in events and broadcasting, Mark has also appeared on television and in publishing. He has featured on GB News and in well-known TV dramas including Cold Feet, The Forsyte Saga and Clocking Off. He is also a published author with several books to his name.
