Lena Reising is a Scottish born singer and Celtic/Pedal Harpist. She trained at Chichester College and has an BA hons in music from Brighton University.

Previous experience has seen Lena compose sing and play on many CD releases radio performances and live concerts. Anna has also worked as the resident harpist on the Cunard line from 2015-2020 - travelling around the world singing and playing her harp. She has become known as 'the singing harp healer'. Now delighted to be back on land in the UK, Lena is ready to sing and play in her own unique style with or without her loop machine. 

Her solo celtic harp and grand pedal harp provides subtle and atmospheric elegance at any special event. Lena 's lovely voice can also accompany the delicacy of the harp if requested.

Lena plays an extensive repertoire from Classical Baroque Popular Jewish & Tradional pieces from around the world.

Performance Times
Wedding Ceremony/Civil Ceremony; maximum duration- 2 hours.
Drinks Reception; maximum duration- 3 hours (3 x 45 minute sets with 45 minutes break).

Lena Reising and her ensemble of top jazz musicians have been enchanting audiences in the UK and abroad drawing rave notices wherever they have performed. As well as beguiling original compositions they play well known jazz standards. The group can also perform sets of bossa nova; playing the music of Antonio Carlos and capturing the magic sounds of Astrud Gilberto and Sergio Mendes.

Using a mixture of guitar double bass vocals piano & percussion Lena 's Jazz Ensemble is available as a trio or quartet and performs for 2 x 45 minutes.

Harp Recitals
Here are some of the themed harp recitals for 2010/2011.

1/ January 25th -Burns Night - a recital which will celebrate the life and works of the famous Scottish poet Rabbie Burns (also available with my Blue Cafe Jazz ensemble - voice/piano/double bass )

2/ Valentines Night -14th February - a repertoire of Love Songs (also available with my jazz ensemble)

3/ St Patricks day - 17th March - a repertoire with a mixture from the British Isles- predominantly Irish

4/ V. E Day -May 8th - a repertoire of favourite Songs from the Wartime Era

5/ French Independance Day - 14th July - a repertoire of predominantly French Love Songs

6/ Xmas - a special set of songs/carols of Love and peace throughout December . Otherwise it is a varied set of classical baroque traditional and love songs for everyone to enjoy.
