Formed in 2016, Get On Up is the Sussex based function band that everyone is talking about!
Covering a range of styles, from complete classics to contemporary floor filers ‘Get On Up’ provide a collection of songs from the 50′s right through to the present day guaranteeing a night to remember.

Meet The Band
Jay Eddie - Jay is a lively, youthful and passionate keyboardist and singer from Brighton. His authentic style brings the iconic sound to classic tracks, with blues and pop influences. Jay has played Keyboard for over 6 years and studied vocals at the British Institute Of Modern Music. During this time he has performed with numerous bands, supporting artists such as Jamiroquai and BGT winners Collabro.
Ryan Gaine – Ryan is a well organised and driven guitarist and singer from Brighton. He started playing the guitar at the age of 11 before joining his first band at the age of 12. He has a wealth of experience working with many established musicians including supporting the likes of David Bowie. He studied at the Brighton institute of modern music which helped him develop his unique style and approach to music. Over the years he has been involved in some exciting projects in both original and function bands. His main influences include the likes of Nile Rodgers, Stevie wonder, John Mayer, BB king and Jimi Hendrix.
Jack Summerfield - Jack ia a vibrant, passionate and creative drummer from London. With over a decade of experiance studying at university and working within many areas of the music industry, he has developed an extensive portfolio, having played all around the world with artists such as Jess Glynn, James Vickery and the London Jazz Orchestra.
Ben Myers - Ben is an experienced, soulful bass player that has great energy and charisma while on stage. He began his career studying Music Performance at Northbrook College, where he spent four years cutting his teeth in covers bands around Worthing and Brighton. Since 2010 he has spent the following years travelling around the world playing in resident bands on cruise ships, including Princess, Celebrity and Royal Caribbean.
