Full Biography
Evelyn and The Vipers are not your 'usual' covers band, covering a wide range of genres and styles for all ages and crowds. Boasting an eclectic, wide ranging repertoire of Pop, Dance, Soul, Disco and decade classics performed with exciting live arrangements, Evelyn and the Vipers are perfect for any event looking for something spectacular.
Expect super fun, festival vibes and a set list packed full of sing along crowd pleasing moments guaranteed to make your night one to remember. The band bring the party and make the dancefloor come alive.
Evelyn and The vipers are highly experienced professional musicians with a real pedigree of live performance on some of the biggest stages. Members have performed throughout Europe, The Middle East, North America and Asia, at festivals including Glastonbury, Boomtown, Bestival, Standon Calling and Shambala to name a few. Members have also performed for some major global events including The America's Cup, The Extreme Sailing Series, Muscat Oman, Montraux Jazz Festival, Bristol Jazz Festival and venues such as The Royal Albert Hall, Ronnie Scotts, The Bristol Beacon, and Band on the Wall, Manchester. Furthermore, members of the band have frequently been played by BBC Radio (6, 4, BBC Bristol, BBC Introducing).
Evelyn is a classically trained singer from Hastings, of Norwegian decent. Her vocal style can be beautifully delicate, yet strong and powerful within seconds. Evelyn brings magic to her performance and is the essence of the bands signature sound.
With a policy of performing songs the band love deeply, each set is remarkably passionate and crafted with expert professionalism.
Evelyn’s stellar backing band are James Graham on piano, Chris Axe bass and Mike Cooper on drums.
