Diamonds and Pearls have been around a while now but are more in demand today, than they have ever been.
Unlike other function or cover bands, Diamonds and Pearls find songs that are rarely covered by other groups and then make them their own. Soulful, funky, with a deep groove carved right down the middle; they create unique arrangements & mash-ups of classic, familiar soul & dance tunes, which nobody else is doing! From 60s soul to 70s funk & disco to 90s house and 21st century dance - they play clubs, pubs, theatres, weddings, corporate, charity balls, black-tie dinner-dances, student events, festivals - you name it, they've nailed it!
Last year we headlined at the Pacha Tower Ball in Blackpool - the first time the world-famous club has held a UK event outside London - and this year we've toured UK theatres warming up for comedian, Roy 'Chubby' Brown as well as being chosen to provide the entertainment at the prestigious Manchester Hoteliers' Association Annual Charity Ball in the sumptuous grandeur of the Palace Hotel.
The band consists of the very best singers, performers & musicians this side of Watford Gap. They include an ex-boy-bander, session musicians, solo singers, stage actors, instrumental teachers, a radio DJ and a radio news reader!
