Full Biography

For the past decade, Mezzo-soprano Bellissimo has attracted praise for her versatility, exceptional musicianship and dramatic stage presence in performances across the UK.

Under the tutelage of Maria Jagusz and Ann Taylor, she graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music in 2011 with a first-class Bachelor of Music degree.

Since then, Bellissimo has enthralled audiences on stage and in concert, encompassing a repertoire spanning the entire classical repertory, musical theatre, jazz and cabaret.

Operatic successes include Carmen, The Teapot in L'enfant et les sortile`ges, Orestes in Le Belle Helene, Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream plus a tour of Dido and Aeneas with the Manchester Camerata.

Bellissimo has also enjoyed a long and fruitful relationship with Longborough Festival of Opera, joining them for The Magic Flute, The Threepenny Opera, La Boheme, Les Miserables, Sweeney Todd, Madama Butterfly and a number of gala concerts.

Equally at home in musical theatre, Bellissimo has taken leading roles in a number of productions in recent years including Les Miserable (Eponine), West Side Story (Anita), Jesus Christ Superstar (Mary Magdalene), The Secret Garden (Martha) and Chess (Florence).

Please note; Bellisimo requires a sound system or PA (to play backing tracks through) to be provided by the client/venue for all performances.
