Full Biography
Baker St are Yorkshire's premier acoustic quartet and have been performing high end weddings and corporate events for well over 10 years. The band are well known for arranging unusual and beautiful versions of classic pop and rock songs - that blend Michaela's stunning vocals with sweet violin lines and guitar/percussion backing. Their repertoire is huge and diverse - you may find youself dancing to Mamma Mia followed by a haunting version of Radiohead's Creep!
The band have played many of the North's most prestigious venues, including Hazlewood Castle, Ripley Castle, Carlton Towers and the Cavern Club in Liverpool. Corporate Clients include Morrisons, Call Credit Company, Nuffield Health and Audit Commission.
The band are also experienced festival performers, including both nights of the Saltaire Brewery Beer Festival in 2019 and Bradford CAMRA Beer Festival in 2018.
Baker St's standard performance is 2 x 45 minute live sets over a 2 hour period, but the band frequently provide entertainment for longer periods to suit the customer's requirements. This could include a wedding ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast or evening party. DJ playlist services can also be used for any or all of these elements. Baker St are flexible and happy to quote for any event or performance time.

“What a TEAM of SUPER STARS you are ? It was absolutely brilliant to have you play at our wedding. The sound was just as I imagined….no wait a minute….even better! The amount of guests I had to give your details too was incredible – I bet you get some calls. My only regret and it is only one was that if it had been possible we should have put you in the main room. I felt not enough people enjoyed you (they heard you and loved you) but not immersed in the whole experience. It had been suggested that once the wedding breakfast had finished people gravitate towards the room you guys were in – this was not the case, even when you put on banging old school tunes via the IPhone. What matters is that Sarah and I loved you and we both thought you were so professional, friendly, talented and just the ticket for our event. Our first dance, The Shires tune ‘I just want to love you’ was performed absolutely brilliantly and if you ever had a copy made we would buy one tomorrow! We ...”
