The duo brings together the talents of Pete, a seasoned nightclub DJ with a rich history of igniting dance floors at iconic clubs and festivals, and James, a highly experienced and expressive saxophonist. Together, they craft a distinctive musical experience that leaves a lasting impression at every event.

Pete’s electrifying DJ career includes a coveted residency at Es Paradis, Ibiza in the early 1990s, along with performances alongside pioneering artists such as Underworld, Leftfield, Groove Armada, Stanton Warriors, Freestylers, Plump DJs, The Nextmen, and appearances on BBC Radio 1 with Pete Tong. Known for his instinctive ability to read a room, Pete’s sets flow effortlessly through chunky house, fresh breaks, dirty disco, infectious afro beats, and modern bass-driven anthems. Blending his own edits with live vocal layering, he reimagines classic favourites while delivering cutting-edge party energy.

Apex Sax & DJ’s performances seamlessly unite the driving beats of a professional DJ with the soulful, interactive sound of live saxophone.
