Alex is an established artist with over 30 years’ experience in visual arts, such as photography, fine art, sculpture and ceramics.

In the longer stretch of his career, he has specialised in painting and drawing of traditional portraits for almost 20 years and has more than a decade of experience in live caricature drawings.

 

As a caricaturist Alex has entertained````````` at a wide variety of events, including; weddings, parties, arts & crafts fairs, festivals.

Using his extensive skills as a portrait artist, he developed his own unique caricature style and technique of smooth portrait-like shading, so it is always entertaining to watch him in action! The end result always looks incredibly realistic, united with humour and exaggeration!

Your Event
Alex is able to produce Black & White images at the speed of 5 minutes per image, Colour caricature usually takes around 8 min. 

Alex can walk among your guests producing quick funny sketches or work from a stationary position.

Alex normally attends to guest’s needs regarding the level of exaggeration they are comfortable with. This may range from "a little funny" to "medium", or "extremely funny". As a rule, ladies and children almost always prefer very modest exaggerations, therefore he usually illustrates them in lovely, and even complimentary ways.
