“Our friends and family love the special atmosphere and vibe that a live band creates at a party as well as the interaction required to select the right sounds at the appropriate time during the evening to get guests dancing during the evening but also play some fantastic old and new classics we all want to here. Alex and Jacques produce quality vocals and a full band sound from just two band members which reflects in their valve for money but still provides a great live sound and everyone loved them.”

“Alex & Jacques are top quality musicians, and such nice guys, they were the perfect addition to our big day! They readily accommodated our request for an acoustic guitar set on the lawn, as well as a full set-up indoors for after-dinner dancing, creating the perfect mood for both, and they were happy to take requests and were very generous with encores. No prima donnas here! Alex got in touch as promised, one month before our event. Their set-up time was fitted in around our own requirements for the space, and was a stress-free experience. If you are thinking of booking them and you like to party and have fun, don't hesitate. I would book them again in a heartbeat!”

Alex and Jacques are a fresh dynamic guitar duo based in Oxfordshire, with a wealth of gigging experience.
With an extensive set-list of well-rehearsed material from the Fifties all the way up to the present day, they are able to provide something for everyone, whatever the occasion.
Passionate about playing music and putting on a great show, the duo’s strong vocal harmonies and tightly-formed rhythm and lead guitar work, in addition to their ability to 'read the room' and play with both dynamic power and subtle finesse, make these guys a spectacular musical offering!
The duo have been performing live together for the last six years and in that time have played to warm receptions in London and the South of England, at gigs such as the Oxford and Islington O2 Academies, Dingwalls, Camden Town, 229 The Venue W1 and the Underbelly N1.
