Aura are a young, energetic, female fronted, 5 piece Wedding and Events band, based in Essex.

Performing a mixture of genres including Pop, Soul, Funk, Motown, Rock and Chart Music from the 50’s to modern day. From hits including Uptown Funk, Shake It Off, and Sex On Fire, to classics such as Blame It On The Boogie, Superstition and Livin’ On A Prayer, they guarantee the tunes to get your guests on the dance floor.

Having performed at many weddings, parties, corporate events, as well as having experience in musical theatre, cruise ships and performing with other bands, Aura draw upon their experience and stage presence to create a great party atmosphere for every event.

Meet The Band
Lead vocalist Emma is a versatile performer, with polished vocals that suits a range of styles. Emma originally trained in Musical Theatre, therefore is very confident when it comes to getting involved with your party, dancing and singing with high energy. She also has years of experience performing as a soloist in the wedding and events industry, so really knows just what it takes to create a great atmosphere, with professionalism and performance style.

Jack is not only a multi-instrumentalist, with abilities in playing guitar, ukulele, piano, and of course drums, but he also works in the live sound scene, touring theatres around the country and prides himself on achieving the best sound quality possible. Whatever the venue, you can trust that Jack will go out of his way to ensure the sound will be the best possible, tailored to each and every event.

Rob is full of experience having played in various bands, and has won many awards during his time at University. Rob has been a Performing Arts Teacher for the past 11 years and currently leads a successful Performing Arts Department in a Secondary School. Rob is fascinated with a wide range of music and guitar gear and successfully recreates guitar tones from all sorts of genres dating back to the 50's and right up to today's modern sound, making him a versatile guitarist adapting to all the styles that the band plays.

Dom has over 15 years of experience performing in party bands up and down the country and has been playing on 5 star cruise lines and hotels for 7 years. Dom also graduated with a 2:1 in Popular and Contemporary Music from Newcastle University. Along with performing in bands and duos, Dom also plays solo piano for weddings and private functions. Although, when the party is really getting started, you may even be lucky enough to see Dom rocking out on his Keytar!

Adam is absolutely full of character and brings a real charm to the band. Adam, along with Jack, also has a background of being swing dancers and so carries this aspect of timing, feel and groove into his playing and stylistic dance moves!

Your Event
Aura can provide lively, full band sets of either 2 x 60 minutes or 3 x 40 minutes.
They can also provide a DJ service in between sets, to keep the party going. Please see booking options for more details.

The band can learn and perform special requests for your First Dance (where possible and adequate time is given to learn the song).

Aura can also offer an Acoustic Duo package during the daytime, for ceremonies, drinks receptions or wedding breakfasts. Please see booking options for more details.
