Created in the summer of 2004 by Latin Touch Entertainments with the collective talents from England and Colombia Son Real is one of London’s leading Latin American Dance Bands.
The band’s electric repertoire is passionate dynamic and eminently danceable. From the characteristically hot blooded tempos of Cuban Salsa and Brazilian Lambada, the traditional folk rhythms of Colombia and also Merengue from Puerto Rico and The Dominican Republic.
This 6 to 14 piece band includes the traditional Latin rhythm section; piano, Timbales, and Congas. It is fronted by Angelica, Hazel and Lina who have become “The Queens of Latin Music” in London, captivating all audiences with their magnetic voices and sensual dancing.
Son Real has toured France, Italy, Spain, and Tunisia. The band has performed for personalities such as Prince Charles, for musicians such as Elton John, Eric Clapton, and for stars of film and television including Joan Collins and Roger Moore. They have become a spicy ingredient at hotels, clubs and many pop stars’ parties!
Son Real is a very well known band in the United Kingdom spreading the Latin fever from small to big audiences. They have been invited to appear at El Carnaval del Pueblo Festival, The Barbican Centre, The South Bank and The Edinburgh festival plus several TV shows.

Son Real is a flexible band with regards their line-up options and have a huge setlist for you to choose from. They can provide music between sets for no extra charge and will consider learning requests with at least four weeks' notice and providing they deem it suitable for their genre.

“Hi Becky, just wanted to let you know that we had a fabulous party last saturday and that Son Real were all that we hoped for. The music was fantastic and everybody was up and dancing. Also we had an amazing surprise because 12 couples from the village had gone off and had salsa classes and then put on a surprise demonstration !! Son Reale were very professional and had everything organised on time despite the weather and were very friendly and mingled with the guests. I think it is always a concern when you listen to demo tapes whether or not the band will come up to scratch but they exceeded expectations and we couldn't recommend them highly enough. Becky, thank you for all your help and assistance you were great and Alive Network pulled out the stops as far as following up info and making sure everything went smoothly.
