Being a jazz fan for over fifty years, I was delighted with both the approach and the performance of the Quartones at my recent birthday celebrations. The musicianship was excellent and there were some terrific solos from sax, piano and bass within what was always a varied and, at least to a jazz fan, a recognisable set. I have had nothing but positive feedback from my guests, many of whom know their music, and the gentle swinging nature of the band made for a relaxed, warm and enjoyable occasion. I only wish that I could have sat down and listened to them more closely, but you know what your own parties are like! I would recommend "The Quartones" without reservation.
