Until Friday I thought that Kimm's most natural environment is an intimate setting, sat singing at her piano, where the tender sincerity of her voice shines through. Seeing her sparkle from head to toe in the grand setting of Manchester's Bridgewater Hall I had to change my mind. Kimm is equally at home centre stage with a live big band behind her. She looked absolutely stunning and held her audience spellbound - in the palm of her hand actually - with a gorgeous and sultry performance of Etta James - At Last. Kimm, you were truly amazing!
