I came across Billy at the Edinburgh Festival in 2016 when we did a BBC Radio show together. He was quick-witted, funny, and wonderfully, prodigiously talented. I invited him to do a slot on my show later that week and in the dressing room afterwards he busked with the group of beat-boxers that shared our venue, playing Stairway to Heaven to their acoustic accompaniment. He's super-likeable, always experimenting and choosing interesting, different arrangements (think Jamie Cullum). Hope to see him again soon- he's definitely a (guitar) star!
