I’d sent him a rough playlist of what I liked, but he took it to the next level. Every song flowed perfectly into the next, and he built the energy throughout the night like a pro. He knew exactly when to bring in a singalong anthem and when to drop a beat-heavy banger. The dance floor was full from start to finish — no awkward empty moments at all. Even people who never normally dance were out there having fun. Mark really knew how to read the crowd, adjusting the music depending on who was on the floor. He played a mix of house, R&B, pop, and old-school throwbacks, and somehow made it all fit together perfectly. The lighting setup he brought added a proper club feel to the room. My friends couldn’t stop talking about how good the DJ was — several even asked for his details for their own parties. He interacted just the right amount with the crowd, keeping the vibe fun but never over the top. It honestly felt like we were in a nightclub rather than a hired hall. “We booked the soundtrack society this year for our bring a bottle event. We are an Irish club and they tailored there act to include Irish folk and pop songs to go alongside their normal show. They played a 2 hour show in the afternoon and a 2 hour show in the evening.”
