We knew mum would like the venue and the band we chose from the selection they recommended were perfect. But we wanted to add something else to make the evening really special, so when I friend told us about an awards ceremony they’d attended where they were playing. We called Jo to see if they could play at our mum’s. Jos Strings were so helpful and professional from the start and really wanted to make sure they had a detailed understanding of the evening, the guests and what we thought (and most importantly mum) would like from them. Your suggestions and patience with us were hugely appreciated! We couldn’t recommend Jos Strings enough and hear you’ve already got other bookings for various events from some of our friends and family who saw you at mum’s party. Both were absolutely fantastic and better than we had ever hoped. So sorry we didn't get to see or thank you in person but everyone was in tears of joy listening to you both. It was my 50th birthday party with a mix of people from a broad range of nationalities and almost everyone was on their feet dancing because their music and presence was irresistible. Furthermore, they made me feel very special because they included my name in some of the songs that they played (it was all Cuban/Latinamerican as per my request) which was really fun. I would absolutely recommend them and would hire them again if I had another party. They were the highlight of my event (many guests of my party said this to me as well).” Read more
