If you want elegant background music, we’d usually suggest a classical or fingerstyle guitarist. As well as classical, jazz, Spanish, flamenco and bossa nova music - many arrange modern pop and rock songs for solo guitar too, so your ceremony music can still feel personal and familiar.

If you’d prefer vocals, or something livelier later on, our singer guitarists are the ideal choice, as well as our acoustic duos. These acts cover a wide range of rock and pop hits, as well as indie, folk, soul and country - switching from mellow to upbeat with ease.

For your drinks reception or wedding breakfast, solo guitar is easy to fit around your day. Booking a Guitarist for your Wedding

FAQs and Essential Tips

Our wedding guitarists are most commonly booked for the ceremony, drinks receptions and wedding breakfast. For the ceremony, they can play as guests arrive, for your aisle entrance, during the signing of the register and as you leave, with many also offering packages covering several parts of your day - including your evening party.

Usually, yes. Many of our guitarists can learn or arrange a favourite song for your aisle entrance, register signing, recessional or first dance. Instrumental players can often turn contemporary pop and rock songs into classical or fingerstyle guitar arrangements. Please ensure you give at least 6-8 weeks notice for any song requests.

For relaxed background music, we’d usually suggest a classical or fingerstyle guitarist, but if you want songs, or a more upbeat live performance, choose a singer-guitarist. If booking for your evening reception, look our for guitarists who use loop pedals or backing tracks for a fuller sound.

Our Wedding Guitarists cost from £205 to £1,350, with an average booking price of £454.72 in 2026. Your quote will depend on the guitarist, your date and location, travel, performance times and any extras you choose. Enter your date and location to see accurate prices and availability.

Yes. Ceremony and drinks reception packages are a natural combination, and many guitarists can also cover your wedding breakfast and evening party too. Tell us which parts of the day you’d like live music for and we can help you compare suitable packages, timings and prices. Many artists list wedding packages on their profile so you can quickly compare prices.

Some instrumental guitarists can play acoustically for smaller ceremonies, while larger rooms and receptions may need a small amplifier or PA. Outdoor performances are possible for many artists, but they’ll need a dry, covered area and suitable power where required. Tell us about your venue when you enquire.
