How much does it cost to hire an acoustic band?

The cost of hiring an acoustic act depends on the type of performer, the number of musicians, your event location and how long you'd like them to perform. As a guide, solo acoustic singers typically charge from £350- £550, acoustic duos from £700-£900, while larger acoustic bands generally range from £1200 to £2500. How far in advance should I book?

Based on over 12,500 acoustic bookings, we find that acoustic singers and duos are typically booked around 4-5 months before an event, while larger acoustic bands average around 6-7 months. Peak dates, particularly Saturdays between June to Septemeber, are often secured much earlier, so we always recommend enquiring as soon as you've confirmed your venue and date. Booking early gives you the widest choice of performers and helps secure your preferred line-up.

How long will they play for?

The most common booking durations are for 2 x 45 minute or 2 x 60 minute sets. Acoustic artists can also vary their performance times to fit with your event schedule. For example, you might choose to have one set performed during your wedding ceremony followed by another set during your drinks reception or for a wedding breakfast. Many artists also offer the option of 3 x 45 minute sets, allowing you to expand the performance times even further across your event.

How much space will an Acoustic Band need?

The space required depends on the number of members and the amount of equipment they use. For duos we recommend 3x2 meters, for trios 3x3 meters, for quartets 4x3 meters, and for 5-6 piece bands around 5 x 3 meters.
