“Best. Day. Ever. You guys absolutely smashed it last night - thank you so much for such an amazing night of incredible music!! We've had so many comments from guests about how good you were. Your interaction with the crowd, especially your acoustic set at the end, was absolutely amazing. We felt you really listened to us and understood our music tastes, and catered to the sort of stuff we like. You and your band worked tirelessly and professorially, and we could not have asked for more. You're great singers and talented musicians with loads of energy - you really got the audience moving. “We searched locally for a band for our wedding but couldn't find anyone that seemed to suit our style or taste in music. We decided to search further afield and came across The Rips. From the outset the guys were great to work with. Easy booking process, good repertoire of songs and they even learnt our first dance song and sent us a recording so we could practice at home! On the day they had great energy and played some awesome sets that really got the guests going. The Dj sets in between were just as amazing! They'd really listened to our requests and played something to suit everyone. So many people commented how good the band were. And they managed to take loads of photos of us all on the dance floor which was hilarious to see a few days later! Couldn't recommend the guys enough. Good luck with future gigs!”

“Hi Guys We had the best day ever!! The two reoccurring comments from the guests were how good the food was and how good the band was. Maybe one or two of the guests might give you a shout for events in the future. We are already planning to keep an eye on your Facebook page for future public gigs that we can come along to! We had high hopes for you guys when we booked as I had spent hours listening to sound clips of probably 100+ bands on the Internet and you guys were top of the pile in terms of sound and we liked your style too. Needless to say you definitely lived up to and exceeded expectations! The first dance was definitely a highlight and we will remember that forever. If you do manage to get a recording it would be great to get a copy. We massively appreciated the effort that you took to create the first dance! Massive thanks and best of luck for the future. “We were impressed with The Rips from the outset, having considered several different bands for our wedding reception. We liked the diverse range of music they could offer and their flexibility. The band were friendly, professional and easy to deal with. Our guests had a great time and some commented on how much they enjoyed the music. My wife and I particularly enjoyed the close to their set, playing an acoustic version of "stand by me" out in the crowd. This was a nice touch as we didn't expect it. Overall we would not hesitate to recommend The Rips to our friends and family in the future. A big thank you for being a part of our special day and creating a great atmosphere.”

“The Rips bought a festival rock feel to our evening, which is exactly what we were looking for in our relaxed wedding reception. The quality from Alive Network bands seem to be good throughout, but for us what set them apart from others was their set list, particularly their more recent songs, so many, we struggled to limit our requests to 2 hours. They are popular songs, that many know, but are not the corny songs you hear from middle aged wedding DJs. The feedback from our guests was also really positive, particularly those dancing at the front! We also requested 3 pretty obscure covers, that were covered so well, we were impressed at how similar they sounded to the originals. The Rips were also helpful, good fun and got the crowd interacting through out the evening. Overall a great evening!”
