Best live band we've seen at a wedding

“We had an absolutely amazing day, and the music was such an integral part of it all. The jazz trio sounded fantastic and worked so well in the room we had for the reception drinks (it started while having our photos taken outside and sounded amazing). It was really nice having the piano in the background for the dinner too, all the music being played sounded great and was exactly what we were after, several people commented on how beautiful it was in the old hall. The big band in the evening was probably the best live band we've seen at a wedding - we might be biased as it was our own - but the dance floor wasn't empty all night, and we've had so many people comment both on the night and since then about how good the music was. Even the events manager at the college was impressed by how good you were (and they organise a lot of events), so much so I think they might be considering hiring you for other events! We really couldn't have been any happier, the music absolutely made our day and especially with Naomi being able to sing the first dance (there were so many variables so really appreciate you being as flexible as you were to allow us to pull this off). Thanks again for everything and hope you all enjoyed the day too!”

Thanks to them, all of our guests were up and dancing throughout their set and the atmosphere was fantastic. We had so much fun! They were also on-hand throughout the planning process and were really lovely to work with, helping us choose the set list and playing our requests. The first dance was an incredibly special moment, thanks in large part to them. I'll definitely be recommending Sugar Push in the future. Amazing New Years Eve Wedding!

“Sugar Push performed recently at our New Years Eve wedding. From our initial introduction the band could not have been more professional. Their planning was meticulous - agreeing arrival and set-up arrangements to accommodate our very specific requirements and suggesting song-by-song playlists for each set - to take our guests from post dinner Swing, to Soul & Pop for the New Year celebrations. The start time went a little awry on the night, which must have been frustrating for the band, but they weren’t fazed in any way and adapted seamlessly with a re-jig of the set structures – our guests of course noticed nothing untoward – and they quickly had the dance floor heaving. Abi the lead singer was amazing, with a fantastic range that particularly did the classic swing numbers proud – and also looking fabulous in a shimmering evening gown (the guys were dressed perfectly for the occasion too!). We would recommend Sugar Push to anyone – you will not be disappointed.”
