“We had the 5 piece Soultastics lineup, with Abi on vocals, for our wedding reception. The energy of the band, as well as the quality of music was incredible. We were looking for a band with a bit of a difference; a band that could play jazz and swing as well as get people up and dancing to more funky or contemporary tunes. The Soultastics were just that! Indeed their swing arrangements of more contemporary tunes achieved both of these goals simultaneously. Abi's voice sounded great whatever the style of the song. We coordinated our first dance with the band (a lindy hop swing dance to Nina Simone's "My Baby Just Cares for Me"), and they were also kind enough to let the groom sit in on guitar for a tune (one off the wedding bucket list). Speaking to the guests afterwards, everyone was in agreement on just how fun the live music was - we'd definitely recommend! (Sam and Julia, married December 2017)”

“Just want to thank you for an incredible two hours of absolutely amazing soulful and classic music. When you all started playing, you could see everyone’s head turning to watch and listen. You are not only amazing to listen to but you perform so well as a group. Every song genre you played was professionally performed and some of the more modern pieces you truly made them your own. We all said that the party was a major success due to your performance. Everyone has commented on how great you all were and what an atmosphere you created. Most parties we have been have been either a DJ or a two man performance. But this was something special. Bravo!! Thank you so much and you most certainly will be hearing from us again.”
