“We are both big music fans so finding the right band was really important to us. We were looking for a band that could play a mix of styles at our wedding and have the ability to get people on the dance floor. Radioactive fitted the bill perfectly! Having our first dance played live made the evening particularly special and felt quite personal to us as a couple. The band had numerous songs on their first dance list but also offered to learn a song for us if we preferred. They did a fantastic job of our special song! We found that dealing with Radioactive was simple and hassle free - exactly what you want with all of the other wedding stresses! The band were knowledgeable about the technical specifications our venue requested and provided all of the certificates and information they required and more and were always so quick to respond. Their dress and appearance on the day was smart and professional and they were so friendly and chatty with our guests.   All our guests have been talking about Radioactive since our wedding...they definitely made a positive impression, with many saying they are by far the best band they've seen/heard at a wedding or party! They were amazing in both the daytime acoustic and evening sets, with a range of music that engaged the wide variety of guests you get at weddings and filled the dance floor all night long. Many of our guests asked for their details following their performance and we would definitely have no hesitation about recommending Radioactive, as they really helped to make our day!  Thank you so much guys!!!”

“What can I say!! Booked Radioactive for a (young) retirement/wedding anniversary party. The band were fantastic from the quality of vocals through to ability of the musicians. Playlist was great and really catered for all ages at the party due to mix of modern and some older classics (my favourite was Johnny B. Goode). Loads of great comments about my choice of band from the party goers and I would definitely recommend them!”

“Choosing a band is a big decision - they have the power to make your evening do a confusing non starter or a night that, not just the bride and groom, but nobody will forget. Radioactive were the latter - simply incredible. The music, the attention to detail, the fact that they took time to speak to people before and after their set!! - fantastic. Their playlist included new and old and their rendition of our first dance, which isn't a particularly well known song, was unbelievable. The feedback we have had since our wedding, regarding the band, has been magnificent. Myself and my wife would have no hesitation in recommending Radioactive to everyone reading. “After trawling the internet for a wedding band, we came across Radioactive.  They had a great set list for our crowd in their 30s and 40s with a mix of old and new songs.  We went ahead and booked them to do both an acoustic set during dinner, as well as playing and DJing during the evening.     Luke contacted us about 3 or 4 weeks prior to our big day to talk through the details to help set our minds at rest and assure us that everything was set for the wedding.  Luke and the band arrived on time and set up as discussed and then the magic happened.  The acoustic set during dinner was fantastic with several people commenting on how great they were.  Some guests actually thought it was a CD as the band was set up to the side of the stage for the acoustic set.   As part of the service, the band will try and accommodate your first dance song and here the band went over and above the call of duty by creating a piano backing track for our first dance - "Can't Fight this Feeling" by REO Speedwagon.  It wasn't a song the band weren't familiar with but they did an awesome job learning it for us.  The band then continued into the two main sets which were equally as awesome.  The dance-floor was packed for most of the night with lots and lots of compliments about the band and how fabulous they were.  The finale song of "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" was hugely well received and everybody left having had a fantastic evening.     I thoroughly recommend Radioactive, they went above and beyond the call of duty in getting everything organised, learning our first dance and knowing exactly how to play to the crowd to make it feel like a truly personal experience.  Thank you so much!”
