“Jewish Empire providing the band, DJ and PA for our wedding on the 9th October 2021. And they were absolutely amazing. In the lead up to the event, their diligence and patience in helping sort out some issues around sound levels at the venue went way above and beyond what we'd initially agreed with them. They friendly, highly personal service and wish to really understand what we wanted for the day meant we felt really positive and confident going into the day. On the day itself, they were amazing with the band being great fun, really getting involved and making sure the dance floor was both packed and super fun. We would absolutely recommended everytime, these guys are amazing. 12/10.”

“The Jewish Empire were extraordinary from start to finish. Both Lilac and her partner Remko were very helpful in the lead up to our Wedding and made a huge effort to understand what we wanted from the evening and how to tailor the sets towards our own music tastes. On the night itself, we couldn't have been more impressed. Lilac set the tone for the entire night and really made our Wedding everything we'd dreamed it to be. If you want to have an evening of amazing music led by a highly talented and exciting performer to wow you and your guests, then you really must choose the Jewish Empire! I cannot wait to use them again in the future for big life events.”

“Jewish Empire were just fantastic! We got married in August, and after the last year or so, it was just magical to be able to have a good dance with friends and family, and the band encouraged everyone to get up and dance - and that is what everyone did! Having a live band makes such a difference to the day, and we would truly recommend them. So many of our friends and family have been saying how very impressed they were with the band and that they absolutely loved the music and dancing. You were FANTASTIC!! ?? Lilac and Remko were so helpful through the whole planning of the big day and answered all our questions. It was lovely to have a video chat to discuss the running of the day and 'meet' them before the Wedding day! They are both such friendly and fun people and reassured us we had definitely made the right choice with having a band!”

“Jewish Empire played at our wedding this weekend and they were absolutely FANTASTIC! High energy, super helpful and just a pleasure to work with, we cannot recommend them highly enough! Lilac and Remko both spoke with us in advance to get to know us a little better and find out more about the type of music we were interested in. Lilac gave us a call in the lead up, was available via whatsapp and was just generally super helpful. On the night of our wedding the dance floor was always filled with everyone singing and dancing along and having a really great time! So, so, so pleased we booked Jewish Empire, thanks for making our wedding evening so awesome! Thanks Lilac, Remko and the rest of the band!”

We actually never initially intended to have a musician at our wedding but when we heard you sing at Shelley’s wedding, we knew you would make our wedding even more special and you definitely did. You have been so amazing throughout what has been a difficult year. You’ve been great with us having to move the date and with all of the song choices so truly thank you for everything. It was so nice to have a chat with you as well and I hope you managed to get a glass of Prosecco before you left :) Having my wife to be walking down the aisle to you singing Somewhere Over The Rainbow was truly so special and our guests were raving about the music you played. “Lilac and the band were the perfect choice for my daughter's Bat Mitzvah party. She was a pleasure to work with and was happy to tailor a set to suit our needs. The band learned a number of songs especially for us, which was amazing. They have excellent equipment that ensured they were able to tailor the song to the space perfectly - not too loud, not too quiet. Lilac and co are great performers and got everyone dancing, including some usually-sulky teenagers. They made our daughter feel special and she had an amazing time. I can't recommend them highly enough.”

“We cannot recommend Lilac, Remko and the band highly enough for making our wedding party the best ever! They were so professional and diligent in their preparation before the event and amazingly unobtrusive as they set up and took all their equipment down. Their sets were inspirational and dynamic and got everyone of all ages on the dance floor! Great variety and great rhythm. The different musical skills of all their band members were hugely complimentary and they helped make our evening very memorable. The lead singers were charismatic and magnetic.
